We may be under lockdown, but as usual, Light UP aren't resting for long. We were proud to be nominated for a Music & Drama Education Award for Outstanding Drama Initiative for all our hard work in the past year. During lockdown, not only were we able to take our classes online, so our students were still able perform, but we also released a free creativity pack so that families could continue to light UP from home.
Needless to say, 2020 has been tough for us all, and to be recognised for our hard work in such a difficult year is a real honour. We would like to thank both the Music & Drama Education Awards committee for shortlisting us, and all our students for making it so fun and easy to pursue excellence in what we do.
