These workshops will take place at UP Studios, Hamble and The HILT in Chandler's Ford.

Light UP is thrilled to offer all of our October half-term workshops at the amazing price of only £5 per workshop. This pricing is available for any child (Light UP Members or general public) who wants to book a place, and gives you a full day of creative workshops run by professional theatre-makers.

6 - 12 yr olds: Ghosts, Ghoulies, and Monsters!

Haunted houses? Creaky floorboards? Moans and wails?!! This October, let your imagination run wild and create your very own spooky tales! Exploring creative writing and performing, this workshop will be full of ghosts, ghoulies, and monsters that you have to bring to life. Develop your storytelling skills and learn how to keep your audience on the edge of their seat!
Led by Light UP Youth Theatre leader Rosie Peters, this one-day workshop promises to be bundles of fun, and a fantastic way to spend an October holiday!

Enjoy a brilliant day of Musical Theatre with your favourite spooky songs! This workshop will explore a variety of fantastically creepy musical theatre tunes, from musicals such as:

Led by Musical Theatre Director Rosie Peters, you will get to bring out your inner Musical Theatre Monster, plus develop your vocal and performance skills. This workshop promises to be a lot of fun, and is perfect for any musical theatre fan who wants to let their freak flag fly!
