High School Musical, Jr - Summer Youth Project

Our 4th annual Summer Youth Project brings together 7-18 year olds across the area to put on a show in 2 weeks! This year we are so excited to be going back to East High for our performance of Disney's "High School Musical, Jr." Ahead of the project we have organised an audition workshop to welcome the cast and gives us a chance to have some fun as we learn a routine, sing a song and do some scene-work all of which will help us cast everyone in a part that will best showcase their talents.

Who are we looking for? Actors, Singers, Dancers and Backstage Crew

AUDITION WORKSHOP DATE: 26/6/22

AUDITION LOCATION: UP Studios, Unit 6 Compass Point, Ensign Way, Hamble SO31 4RA

Actors Aged 12-18 will attend for the full 2 weeks, while actors aged 7-11 will join us in our second week.

PROJECT DATES: 1/8/22-5/8/22 and 8/8/22-12/8/22

WK 1 Rehearsals will take place at UP Studios, Hamble

WK 2 Rehearsls will take place at Richard Tauntons

PERFORMANCE DATE: 12/8/22 at Richard Tauntons

COST: 

Member Rate - £235 (for 2 weeks)

Non-Member Rate - £250 (for 2 weeks)

Member Rate - £150 (for 1 week)

Non-Member Rate - £165 (for 1 week)

The cost includes weekly rehearsals (M-F, 9 to 5), cast script, t-shirt and a digital headshot, as well as our Audition Workshop and other opportunities for the cast to meet and perform.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1) Pay in full by selecting either a Member or Non-Member ticket. This will secure your place on the project and eliminate any additional prompts for payment. 

2) If you are unable to pay in full, select Deposit Ticket and pay your deposit to secure your place on the project. We would then ask that you contact us at info@lightupdrama.org.uk to arrange an instalment payment plan for your remaining balance. Partial and full tuition bursaries are limited but available for those that qualify for the additional support
