Day 4 - UP Skill: Puppetry

Join Light UP for Day 4 of our UP-Skill Drama Camp. 

Led by Unexpected Places' Artistic Director Rosanna Sloan you can look forward to learning more about how hit shows like War Horse are created and what skills you need to be a puppeteer. This is an in depth look into how to make an audience relate and emphasise with a puppet, the benefits and uses of puppets in productions and how to devise stories and sequences with any type of puppet (yes there are different types!). You will be getting your hands on some of Unexpected Places puppets used in professional productions as well as made items on the day. Rosie will also be sharing industry insight into how to make a career as an actor/ puppeteer and what she looks for when casting UP productions.

Who: 11 - 18's (members and non-members)

When: 9:00am - 3:30pm

Bookings are available by the week at a significant savings or pick and mix days.
